MRICS AD Quantity Surveying – Cost Consultancy

Stafford Lawrence is recruiting for an Associate Director of Cost for a job vacancy with a well-known and rapidly growing forward-thinking Cost Consultancy for their Birmingham West Midlands office. The current vacancy is due to the continued growth of the company. Our client is looking to recruit an AD-level Quantity Surveying professional with experience on a range of projects. With the ability to mentor and grow a team. This job vacancy is a full-time permanent office based role.

Ideally, our client is seeking building projects experience for this position so a mix of the following is highly desirable: Industrial Mixed-Use Commercial, Residential, Leisure, Entertainment, Retail, Education projects.

Requirements for Chartered MRICS Associate Director Of Cost

  • Professional Status-MRICS – Chartered Status is a preferred requirement for this senior-level role. Our clients are members of the Royal Institute of Chartered Surveyors.
  • Qualifications -A Degree qualification in Quantity Surveying or Commercial Management or another relevant construction related degree qualification.
  • Background – In addition, experience with a Cost Consultancy or Multidisciplinary Construction Consultancy organisation in the UK. Our client is open to candidates who wish to relocate from another part of the UK to the Birmingham area, as well as candidates already based in the area.
  • Sector Experience -Our client is involved in Industrial, Commercial, Mixed Use, Residential, Leisure and Entertainment, Retail, Education, so it is expected that you will have experience in one or more of these areas.
  • General Experience –As well as the ability to manage your projects, candidates should have experience in Business Development and client liaison in the area along with the ability to manage and mentor a team of Cost Consultancy professionals.
  • Reporting– The role will report to the partner of the Birmingham office as well as the UK board.
  • A full clean UK driving licence is a requirement for this position as there will be some travel required to visit clients in the region.

Salary & Benefits for the Associate Director Cost Birmingham

This vacancy is a permanent full-time position based in Birmingham.

Salary Package – Negotiable for the right person. There is some flexibility around the banding provided by our client £65,000-72,000. This figure includes Car or Car Allowance

Commission-Open to discussion
