Associate Director Project Management

Location: Gloucestershire ( outskirts of Gloucester)

Salary: £65-80,000 per annum, plus benefits listed below

Stafford Lawrence is hiring for an Associate Director Project Management position in Gloucester for a well-known Multidisciplinary Consultancy.

The ideal candidate for this role should have the experience and capability to work independently and collaboratively within a growing team. The position involves office-based or home-based work with occasional travel to client sites in the region. A valid driving license is necessary as the role requires visiting clients in Gloucestershire and surrounding counties.

This is a full-time permanent position, with a preference for candidates already based in the area or those willing to relocate to Gloucestershire from other parts of the UK.

Role and Responsibilities of the Associate Director Project Management

  • Develop assist and lead and assist project management services; including technical advice and pre and post-contract project management services.
  • The Ability to lead and manage a team of project managers effectively as well as to provide guidance, mentoring, and support to project management staff.
  • In-depth knowledge of construction processes, materials, and methodologies.
  • Experience in managing large-scale construction projects.
  • Proficiency in project planning, scheduling, and budgeting.
  • Identify potential risks and develop mitigation strategies.
  • Proactively manage project risks throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Oversee contract negotiations and administration.
  • Ensure compliance with contractual terms and conditions, industry regulations and standards and implement quality assurance processes to maintain high standards.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills and the ability to effectively communicate with stakeholders at all levels.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Significant experience in project management within the construction industry with a Consultancy organisation, with a proven track record of successful project delivery to time scope and budget.
  • Strong client liaison experience and the ability to understand the client’s needs and expectations for their projects.

Qualifications and requirements -Associate Director Project Management

  • Chartered Status such as MCIOB or MRICS
  • Understanding of construction methodologies, design coordination, procurement, and contract administration.
  • In-depth knowledge of budgeting, cost control, value engineering
  • Expertise in identifying, assessing, and mitigating project risks and resolving issues before they impact timelines or budgets.
  • Proficient in managing various contract forms (NEC, JCT, FIDIC)

Salary & Benefits for Associate Director Project Management

**Salary** ranging from £65,000-80,000 per annum. The client is open to slight flexibility on this salary range for the ideal candidate.
