A Construction Project Management consultancy with Projects in Real Estate Development and infrastructure for giga-projects, Head of Project Management / Executive Director Project Management, for a position based in their Riyadh office in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. This position will report to the CEO.

The projects you will be working on will be Buildings Projects – Such As Hotels, Resorts, Hospitals, Universities, Mixed Use Leisure and Entertainment Venues, Stadiums

Role of the Project Director – Head of Project Management – Executive Director Projects

  • This senior level position will be responsible for overseeing all project delivery functions across the whole KSA portfolio.
  • You will be responsible for strategic planning, execution, performance monitoring, and client engagement. Leading and Managing the sucessful delivery of projects across the Kingdom
  • Your remit will be to use your Project Management skills acros a wide range of sectors including residential, commercial, hospitality, leisure, hotels, resorts, stadiums, hospitals universities, and mega/giga buildings projects-projects. Please note: A mixture of sectors is a requirement.
  • The succesful candidate will provide leadership, technical, and commercial acumen,
  • Candidates must have a proven track record in delivering complex projects within time, and to budget, whilst adhering to quality constraints.
  • Provide executive-level direction across project management, construction supervision, cost control, planning, quality, and safety.
  • Establish and maintain strong client relationships, acting as the senior point of contact and ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction.
  • Drive operational excellence by implementing best-in-class project delivery systems, tools, and standards.
  • Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing team of project directors, managers, and technical professionals.
  • Work closely with the CEO and functional heads to support business development, contract negotiations, and strategic partnerships.
  • Manage project risks, resolve escalated issues, and ensure compliance with corporate policies, legal requirements, and client KPIs.
  • Report regularly to the Board and Executive Management on project status, forecasts, challenges, and opportunities.
  • Represent the company at high-level meetings, industry events, and governmental engagements as needed.

Qualification Requirements of the Project Director

  1. Degree Qualification -Bachelors degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or a related construction field
  2. Other Qualifications -In addition a preference for a Masters Degree qualification in a Construction, Project Management or Business field
  3. Years of Experience– A Minimum 20 years of relevant experience, with at least 10 years in a senior leadership role managing large-scale, high-value projects.
  4. Location Experience – Proven experience in Saudi Arabia or the GCC region, with a strong understanding of local regulatory, cultural, and commercial environments.
  5. Previous Companies -Strong knowledge of PMC, engineering, procurement, and construction delivery models. It is expected you will have PMC experience with a Tier 1 consultancy.
  6. Reporting Structure -Previous experience at a high level reporting to the CEO of a PMC organisation. Experience liaising with Stakeholders.
  7. Chartered Status– A Chartered professional Certification such as MCIOB MRICS or MICE

Salary & Benefits for the Head of Project Management KSA

This is a full-time permanent job vacancy for a Senior Level professional with extensive experience as a Project Managment professional.

Our client is open to negotiation for this position but Stafford Lawrence Ltd are suggesting a salary banding of no less than 90,000- 110,000 SAR per month. If you are currently over this banding, please still get in contact as we mention our client is negotiable for the right person
