- A candidate who is working towards chartered status is highly desirable for this position MCIOB qualification or equivalent professional qualification, such as MRICS or MAPM
- Degree Qualified in a Construction related Subject.
- Circa 2 years post qualification experience as a Project Manager or 5 years+ as a Senior Project Manager with a consultancy organisation.
- Ability to set project direction aligned with business goals, inspire teams, and drive performance across multiple projects.
- Deep understanding of construction methodologies, design coordination, procurement, and contract administration.
- Skilled in budgeting, cost control, value engineering, and maximising profitability while delivering quality.
- Expertise in identifying, assessing, and mitigating project risks and resolving issues before they impact timelines or budgets.
- Proficient in managing various contract forms (NEC, JCT, FIDIC, etc.) and ensuring the commercial success of projects.
- Strong interpersonal skills to build and maintain relationships with clients, consultants, contractors, and internal teams.
- Ability to manage complex project timelines, ensuring milestone achievement.
- Ensures projects adhere to regulatory standards, health & safety requirements, and internal quality benchmarks.
- Capable of leading through change—whether in scope, schedule, or resources—while maintaining team focus and morale.
- Clear, concise communicator with ability to report progress, challenges, and strategies to leadership and clients.
- To lead, develop and assist with the provision of project management services; including technical advice, pre and post contract project management services.
- Some travel to Gloucester will be required.
