Prestigious Airport Project- Senior Commercial Manager Vacancy Saudi Arabia, KSA. A well known Development organisation are seeking a Senior Leader with very strong Post Contract delivery for this Airport project in Western Saudi Arabia.

DURATION: 24 -30 months

START: March 2025

Job Requirements for the Senior Commercial Manager Airport

1. Chartered Status MRICS is an essential requirement for this role, our client will also consider MCIArb. We cannot accept candidates with Assoc RICS or working towards APC.
2. Middle East experience is a requirement for this position, with a preference for some previous experience in Saudi Arabia.
3. Major Projects Experience is essential and it is highly desirable for the sucessful candidate to have previous experience on large Airport projects.
4. A minimum of 15-20 years industry experience, post degree.
5. In addition experience with a Cost Consultancy. Please note you must have Cost Consultancy or PQS experience with a TIER 1 Consultancy.
6. A Degree in Quantity Surveying or Commercial Management, from a recognised university. This must be a 3 Year BSc Qualification. Candidates with only a 2 year MSc or any other degree qualification cannot be considered for this role. 7. This position requires experience of POST Contract Services Delivery.

Job Description for the Airport Project Senior Commercial Manager

• Provides day to day management of all commercial issues relating to the project. Managing budgets from project inception through to completion.
• Utilises their experience of major industry contract forms, FIDIC etc.
• Monitors all cost consultancy work undertaken by office/ project staff.
• Act as the Manager in charge of all project commercial issues, working with and reporting directly to the Project Director.
• Prepare bid proposals for new work and submit to management for approval.
• Manage and support the project staff in the delivery of the project as well as developing and implementing staff resource plans, appraisals and staff recruitment.
• Arrange for the preparation and submission of fee payment claims and assist with collection.
• Lead commercial meetings and negotiation of commercial issues.
• Assist in management and strategy of the Business plan.
• Seek Business Development opportunities and engage in Marketing exercises.
• Liaise with clients, ensuring regular communication and visits.
• Engage in Networking events.
• Maintain high professional and technical standards.
• Capable of accepting additional responsibility.

Salary for Airport Project- Senior Commercial Manager

This position is a 24-30 month, contract on a site based position or on FIFO 4 days per week

SALARY: Negotiable for the right person. Dependant upon whether the candidate wishes to remain Saudi based or FIFO to the UAE.
