Chartered Estimating Manager- Senior Cost Consultant Jobs Saudi Arabia

We are seeking to recruit an MRICS Estimating & Budgeting Manager for a position with a Leading Cost Consultancy company for their offices in Saudi Arabia KSA.

The client has a preference for candidates who have an MRICS Chartered Status. Candidates will also have a background with Cost Consultancy organisations.

This role requires previous Middle East experience.

Role of the Budgeting and Estimating Manager / Senior Cost Consultant

  • This role has a focus on pre-contract cost management services and lead the pre-contract team. It is essential that you have this experience.
  • Preparation of Pre-Tender Estimates and prepare and agree the structure of tender documents. Manage and contribute to structured tender evaluations.
  • Manage the tender process and tender queries
  • You will be expected to produce cost plans / estimates throughout the different design stages in accordance with NRM1 format for the concept design, NRM2 for the detailed design and CESMM for Infrastructure works.
  • Manage value engineering exercises and advise on cost implications as well as attending value engineering workshops
  • Establish the structure and format of a cost plan / estimate and benchmark at the various design stages as well as monitor the cost implication of design stages and track against the budget.
  • Reconcile the variance at each design stage and report on reasons for variance.
  • Provide advice on procurement strategies.

Requirements for the MRICS Estimating Budgeting Manager  

ALL of the following are requirements of this job vacancy in Saudi Arabia KSA

  • Degree Qualified In QUANTITY SURVEYING or COMMERCIAL MANAGEMENT is a requirement
  • MRICS Chartered Status is a requirement. ( Member of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors)
  • Experience with a well known Construction Consultancy organisation as a Quantity Surveyor, Senior Quantity Surveyor or Estimating professional.
  • Extensive knowledge of New Rules of Measurement NRM1 and NRM 2
  • Extensive Pre contract experience Estimating and Budgeting for large Buildings projects, Such as Hotels Mixed Use, Residential Projects.
  • ( Member of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors). Candidates who meet all the other requirements and who do not have MRICS Chartered status, will also be considered.
  • At least 8-10 years of experience as a Cost Consultant, Pre Contract Estimator with strong knowledge of Budgeting and procurement for the types of projects mentioned above
  • Experience of COST X and Blue Beam are highly desirable for this job vacancy

Salary & Benefits for Estimating & Budgeting Manager

The successful candidate should expect A TOTAL PACKAGE Salary of 45,000-52,000 SAR per month ( this includes accommodation allowance and transport allowance)
