Stafford Lawrence- Construction Recruitment Consultants are always looking to recruit Cost Consultants and Quantity Surveyors for our clients, for positions across the United Kingdom. We have job vacancies and careers for a wide variety of Construction Consultancy organisations from small to mid-sized and some of the larger Cost Consultancy clients. A lot of the vacancies we advertise are exclusive to Stafford Lawrence Ltd, due to our long-term client relationships. All our job vacancies are for full-time permanent positions.

Stafford Lawrence Ltd has been recruiting Cost Consultants, Quantity Surveyors and Commercial Managers in the United Kingdom for over 20 years.

Our clients like to see some Cost Consultancy or PQS experience, but some are open to candidates who have worked for Main Contractors or subcontractors who would like to move to a consultancy.

Requirements for the Quantity Surveyor Jobs United Kingdom, England, Scotland, Wales, Northern Ireland

• Chartered Status or candidates working towards APC. Our clients are open to candidates who are 12-18 months from attaining chartered status.
• In addition, A Degree qualification in Quantity Surveying or commercial management is ideal, but candidates with other degree qualifications will be considered if you can show experience with a Cost Consultancy organisation in the UK.
• Experience with a Cost Consultancy a PQS or an Engineering Consultancy, a few examples of this would be, Arcadis, AECOM, Gleeds, but there are many smaller PQS consultancies that our clients would consider in the United Kingdom.
• In addition, Dependent upon the level of the vacancy, our clients like to see a minimum of 2 years post-degree qualification experience, up to 6 years experience for Quantity Surveyor / Cost Consultant roles and more experience for the Senior and Associate roles.
• We also have vacancies for Director and Partner level candidates. Due to the confidential nature of some of these roles, we cannot advertise them. So please get in contact for information on potential job vacancies in your area

• Basic salary – discussed on a case-by-case basis, dependent upon location experience, and the level of the role. Candidates in London and other major cities will likely have a London or city rating. Certainly, no one wants to move these days without an increase in salary. • Most of our clients now offer a mix of office and home working for all candidates.
• In addition, Pension provision is dependent upon the client or company. This can range from 4-10%
