Quantity Surveyor Recruitment in the UK : Stafford Lawrence always looking to recruit Cost Consultants and Quantity Surveyors for our clients, for positions across the United Kingdom. We have roles in England Scotland Wales and Northern Ireland for a wide variety of Construction Consultancy organsations from small to mid sized and some of the larger Cost Consultancy clients.
Stafford Lawrence Ltd have been recruiting Cost Consultants and Quantity Surveyors in the United Kingdom for over 20 years.
Our clients like to see some Cost Consultancy or PQS experience, but some are open to candidates who have worked for Main Contractors or subcontractors who would like to move to a consultancy.

All our roles are with well known British Cost Consultancy and Engineering organisations and are for full-time permanent positions.
N.B UK nationals or those with a current right to live and work in the UK. Our clients cannot currently provide visas for non-UK nationals as they are not registered with the UK government to do so.
Requirements for the Quantity Surveyor Jobs United Kingdom, England, Scotland, Wales, Northern Ireland
- Chartered Status or candidates working towards APC. Our clients are open to candidates who are 12-18 months from attaining chartered status
- In addition, A Degree qualification in Quantity Surveying or commercial management is ideal, but candidates with other degree qualifications will be considered, if you can show experience with a Cost Consultancy organisation
- Experience with a Cost Consultancy / PQS, a few examples of this would be, Arcadis, AECOM, Gleeds, but there are many smaller PQS consultancies that our clients would consider in the UK
- In addition, Dependent upon the level of the role, our clients like to see a minimum of 2 years post-degree qualification experience, up to 6 years experinece for Quantity Surveyor / Cost Consultant roles.

- Basic salary – discussed on a case by case basis, dependent upon location experience, and the level of the role. Candidates in London and other major cities will likely have a London or city rating. Certainly no one wants to move these days without an increase in salary. We are happy to have an open and frank conversation in regards to your requirements. ALL our roles detail the salary bandings provided by our clients. - Most of our clients now offer a mix of office and home working for all candidates.
- In addition, Pension provision, dependent upon the client this can range from 4-10%
- Mobile and Laptop are provided
- There are a number of other benefits such as discretionary bonuses and cost-of-living allowances. Some clients offer gym membership and healthcare provision as well as a range of other benefits.

- Please make sure that you provide your MRICS Membership number and the date you attained MRICS if that is a requirement of the role.
- Where possible provide information on the projects you have worked on and the value as well as your particular involvement and who you reported to, and anyone you were responsible for.
- Above all, please do not use coloured text or logo pictures on your CV, keep it simple.
