Senior Quantity Surveyor Gloucester – UK Quantity Surveyor Job Vacancies

Stafford Lawrence is recruiting for Senior Quantity Surveyor or Senior Cost Consultant for our long standing client in the Gloucester area. A well-known Construction Cost Consultancy /PQS that offers Quantity Surveying, Cost Consultancy, PQS services to a wide range of clients in Gloucestershire and the surrounding areas.

Our client also provides a structured career path to Associate and Director level for all candidates and can also assist with mentoring for APC and Chartered MRICS Status

They are seeking to recruit a Senior Quantity Surveyor or Senior Cost Consultant with the experience and ability to work alone and as part of this growing team. This job vacancy is office-based with additional travel to client sites when required. You will oversee the contractors on behalf of the client for several projects in the region.

A full clean driving licence is a requirement.

This is a permanent full-time vacancy. Preference is also given to candidates located in the area or candidates who are keen to relocate to Gloucestershire from another part of the UK.

Requirements for the Senior QS Jobs Gloucestershire – QS Jobs UK

  • The ideal candidate should have a professional qualification as a Quantity Surveyor a BSc in Quantity Surveying is preferred but our client will consider HND qualifications in Quantity Surveying or Commercial Management

  • In addition, candidates should have experience as a Quantity Surveyor, with well-known cost consultancy organisation or PQS practice on buildings or infrastructure projects in the UK.
  • You will also have a solid work history and the ability to work alone or as part of a team is essential.
  • To sum up, we are seeking to recruit a candidate based in the area, with the ability to travel to projects and work independently and as part of a team
  • The position will report to the Director of Cost in the Gloucestershire office.
  • Excellent communication skills as well as previous client liaison experience is an essential requirement.

Salary & Benefits for the Senior Quantity Surveyor / Senior Cost Consultant Gloucester

This is a full- time permanent position, based in the Offices of our consultancy client on the outskirts of Gloucester.

  • A Basic Salary of £45,000 -£55000 per annum. Our client is slightly flexible on this banding for the right person.
  • In addition 33 days of holiday ( 25 plus 8 bank holidays) plus Birthday
  • Flexible working week as well as flexible homeworking/ Hybrid Working 3days in the office 2 days from home
  • A Generous Pension scheme of 6%
  • In addition, Mobile Laptop, Mileage allowance
