We are seeking an MRICS Associate Director/ Project Director Commercial for a permanent position in the UAE. This vacancy is with a world-class Construction Consultancy for their offices in the United Arab Emirates. As with the majority of our vacancies, there are some VERY strict requirements for this position…….. please read them carefully. These are the end client requirements.

Our client is one of the premier construction cost consultancies in the Middle East and indeed across the globe. They work in a number of sectors but this job vacancy requires high profile or Iconic projects experience.

Requirements for the MRICS Associate Director/Project Director Commercial UAE- Middle East Vacancy

ALL the following requirements MUST be met

1. Above all this position specifically requires an MRICS Chartered Quantity Surveyor, so you must have MRICS or FRICS Quantity Surveying route. We cannot consider applications without this. It is a MANDATORY requirement.
2. Stafford Lawrence is seeking Director level candidates for this senior level position. So, you should have experience working with a Construction Cost Consultancy in A Director or Associate Director position and have solid experience as a Commercial Professional overseeing iconic projects. The role will be based in the United Arab Emirates.
3. For this position our client requires a minimum of 20 -25 years experience Post Degree, from the year you attained your Degree Qualification.
4. Previous Middle East experience is a requirement, some of this experience MUST be in the United Arab Emirates on High profile or Iconic ‘Buildings’ projects. We are not seeking Rail/ Civils or Infrastructure Candidates.
5. Cost Consultancy experience is a requirement we are looking for the Top Cost consultancy organisations on your CV. We are not seeking Contractor or Client Side candidates.
6. Candidates should have longevity of service with well known consultancy organisations. Preferably 5-7 years experience with each organisation. Candidates who have moved roles frequently every 1-2 years or who have long periods of unemployment cannot be considered for this role. The end client has listed this proviso.
7.  A degree qualification specifically in Quantity Surveying or Commercial Management from a well known University.
8. Experience of BIM is also a requirement for this vacancy.
9. In addition, you will have very strong Post Contract experience. Ideally we are seeking someone with both Pre and Post contract experience, but candidates MUST have solid Post Contract.
10. This is a hands on role, requiring someone who is very adept at overseeing the contractor
11. Please note: As per UAE law, we require an expat who is under the retirement age of 60.

Salary & Benefits- United Arab Emirates Vacancy

An excellent total package salary is available for this MRICS Associate Director /Director UAE Vacancy

The salary banding provided by our client is 55-70,000 AED per month total package. PLEASE NOTE: Our client can be slightly negotiable for the right person who meets ALL requirements.

• In addition, Medical cover is provided on top of the total package
• Bonus as per UAE Law
• Mobilisation and demobilisation flights.
• Visa costs if required
