• Interim payment applications in accordance with the terms of the contract and actual work progress.
• Preparing and compiling variation claim documents
• Cost reporting, controlling & monitoring, Budget updating. Controlling project costs from inception to completion.
• Project Cash flow and periodic assessments of anticipated final cost and reporting.
• Preparing KPI (Key Performance Indicator) reports, to monitor Budget Cost
• Prepare & Compile Final Accounts Payment applications
• Developing responses to commercial risks
• Attendance and representation at commercial meeting.

Requirements for the Chartered Cost Consultant vacancy in Dubai, Middle East

ALL Of the following requirements are MANDATORY

1. MRICS Chartered Status is required for this position. Due to the volume of applicants for Dubai roles, we respectfully ask that you do not apply for this role if you are RICS -APC or do not have the MRICS Chartered Status
2. Qualifications: In addition, A Degree qualification in ideally Quantity Surveying or Commercial Management our client will also accept a Degree in Civil Engineering. (We can only accept a 3-year degree qualification in the subjects mentioned for this vacancy, this is a client requirement). Our client WILL NOT consider other degree qualifications, nor will they consider diplomas or 2 year MSc Courses. YOU MUST have a 3 year Degree Qualification.
3. Cost Consultancy: In addition to the above, candidates must have a solid 7 years relevant experience, some of this experience MUST be with a Cost Consultancy/ PQS organisation.  No less than 7 years full time post-degree work experience in total. Such as E.g AECOM, Currie & Brown, Arcadis, or some of the smaller well known consultancy organisations. Our clients are a Cost Consultancy, they will only accept a little Main Contractor experience for this vacancy.
4. Sector : Previous experience of High-Rise Residential projects is a requirement for this position.
5. Location: Candidates must have experience in Dubai or the United Arab Emirates such as Abu Dhabi.
6. Nationality: This vacancy, as with all our vacancies ( unless stipulated due to visa requirements) is open to ALL nationalities who meet the requirements above.
7. Strong client facing communication skills and excellent English language skills.

Salary & Benefits – Middle East Recruitment

• 20,000-22,000 AEC Dhs per month total package ( If you are not sure what total package means? Check out our blog on Middle East salaries)
• In addition, Medical insurance is provided on top of the package
• 22 working Days Holiday Allowance plus all national holidays (this is working or business days, not calendar days)
• 5 day week, Monday – Friday 48 hour working week
• Mobilisation and Demobilisation flights
• Visa costs self and family

Candidates currently in Country (UAE) will be offered a face to face interview. Candidates outside of the UAE will have a 2 stage zoom interview.
